Where many search for serenity through their sound, Feign Jima creates it, offering a momentary escape amidst a year of chaos. It is Dream Pop at its most lucid and delicate. Fragments of adored nostalgia lay carefully scattered within each song. However, it is her silky tones that moves the project from the contemplative to the contemporary. With lyrics that float buoyantly atop the mix, calmly demanding attention like eyes drawn to a flickering candle. Sit back and slide into the serenity of Feign Jima.
