Ficus are a four-piece enviromental Metal Band from Wollongong who are waging war through their music on society, governments, corporations, the greedy and the selfish who disregard the environment and it's creature's. Their music represents all side's of mother-earth, pumping out hurricane riffs, earthquake like drums, volcanic bass lines , thunderous vocals and the occasional calm soothing winds & peaceful relaxing rain. Growing up in an industrial & toxic city has left a metallic taste in their mouth & on stage they bleed their anger. All members work in the environment scene & believe the time to revolt against governments and society is now before its to late and the earth is nothing but a blackened abyss in space. Ficus are currently recording their second Cd, which should be out mid 07 http://www.myspace.com/ficusdomain
