Up and amongst the northern suburbs, Fred Sharp and Miguel Rees started music together and later became Figure 23 in late 2007 with Jesse Scale pumpin' bass lines. With the source of myspace in 2008, the band met talented musician Christine Yeong who has the same influences as the band and became the second guitarist and vocalist for the band. Taking us into 2009, Figure 23 recorded a full length studio album "Delete the Negative, Ignore the Hate" bring the 4 piece into the original music scene playing shows around Perth. With the group still in high school and Christine being two years older then the rest slowed the progress of the band down and jamming became less. Christine later left the band to pursue other musical styles in another band leaving Figure 23 as a trio. With the boys finally turning 18 in 2012 saw a new start as they were able to play in Perth venues without a guardian.
