FigureHead began as a lonely dream of Tyson “Slithers” Lindley while doodling on his piano in a basement in the Northern suburbs of Melbourne. A band that was not a band. A musical project that would allow him to collaborate with musicians with distinct sounds, songwriters and artists throughout Melbourne, combining his dreamy melodies and goading lyrics with his love for harsh noise, big beats and drama. After three years of writing, experimenting, recording, editing, scrambling and playing with instruments, synths, field recordings, voices, computers and samples, working with many people and picking up a formidable group of allies along the way, FigureHead are finally ready to unchain and set loose their debut album Wormwood. A wild and dark but humorous exploration of bitterness and the troubling desires we keep but don’t express

We're a 5 piece alternative rock band from Fremantle WA.
