Their brand of Aussie hip-hop stands out due to hard-hitting beats and lyrics and an energetic live show, and is beginning to provide them with national attention. MC Squared has represented Western Australia at the nationally televised Channel V Aussie Friggin’ Hip Hop battles and has represented Australia against New Zealand in the Out4Fame MC Battle for Supremacy. MC Wolverine meanwhile is working on his solo debut release, featuring Aussie hip hop icons Hyjack and Torcha, Mass MC, Ken Oath, Optamus (Downsyde), Hunter and Clandestien, as well as others. As a group they have performed at many of Perth’s premier music spots, including Heat Nightclub, Rosemount Hotel, Mojos, the Swan Basement, Club A, the Hyde Park Hotel, Leederville HQ and also at Joondalup Festival.
