Filth Wizard is coming up string in the Northern Rivers punk music scene. Led by "filthy" front woman and guitarist Tilka Fosmale, backed up by the funky bass playing of Jahla Ferguson and held together by Vinnie Sebastian's tight drums, they are an up-and-coming force to behold. They have played at the 3 most recent climate strikes in Byron Bay as well as multiple pub and underground DIY gigs around the area. Their debut single 'Catastrophe' has taken local audiences by storm with it's catchy riffs and relevant political content. Keep an eye out for them, they've got plenty more on the way too.

After a a busy first year playing at WA's best venues including a coveted slot at Fremantle's Hidden Treasures Festival, Filth Wizard have sharpened their sound and recorded their debut single 'Snowflake' with Andy Lawson at Debaser Studios (Sugar Army/Tired Lion). Mesh together all that you love about 90s grunge with a modern spin - think big fuzzy riffs, pounding energetic rhythms, catchy vocal hooks, and psychedelic solos. Taking influence from bands like Soundgarden, Queens of the Stone Age & Alice in Chains, 'Snowflake' goes deep into a perfect apocalypse brought on by human hands.
