FIREBRAND Welcome to planet {Firebrand}. Exploding with atmosphere, power and melody, their songs are at once apocalyptic and uplifting, filled with characters that battle with alienation, paranoia and dark obsessions, and above all REALITY. {Firebrand} are a captivating, imaginative new band from Sydney. They self produced their as yet untitled album with the legendary mixer/engineer Mike Stavrou. They sought out Stav because they grew up listening to his groundbreaking work with David Bowie, The Pretenders and Elton John and they felt he was the only one who could help them capture the size and scope of what they wanted to accomplish on their debut recording. The bands first ambition is as big as their sound, balancing huge guitars with anthemic vocal lines and organic synthesizers with electronic underpinnings. Featuring production dynamos Matt Flash and Omen Chambers and an ever-changing live show {Firebrand} deliver the goods in spades. Liberally dripping with the non chalant
