First Born Sun is Australian musician Dave Cina's genre-hopping solo project — sunny, nostalgic, with a tinge of cynicism. Four albums in, from Moog-only instrumentals to psychedelic pop to spaghetti-western twang, none sound the same. The sixth First Born Sun album Aquarium Bloom surfaces 30 September 2026. First Born Sun is not for everyone; then again, neither is staring at the sun.
