Edit history

First Unfortunate was conceived late in 2008 and since inception the band has been kept busy playing gigs, recording demos, and discovering their sound, all the while building their fan base. The band comprises Josh Everson, Mark Day, Nick Casalini, Jay Morgan & Karl Mallett. They draw their influences from artists such as Jeff Buckley, Guns n' Roses, The Kooks, Cartel & local heroes Closure in Moscow, to name but a few. At live shows, the boys channel all of their energy into their instruments, and between the heart- warming vocals, screaming lead guitars, thundering bass and pounding drums, there is something that appeals to everybody. Their songs range from mellowed out pop-rock (such as "Who You Are" new demo), to brash rock n roll, to rock-style ballads. All-in- all, no matter what style of music you like, you will never walk away from any of their shows disappointed.
