Hailing from Brisbane, Australia, indie- pop-rock four piece Flag Duty have spent the last couple of years developing a colourful sound and establishing themselves as energetic and eccentric entertainers. The band - singer Ben Hobart, bassist Tom Jolly, guitarist Abi Ashford and drummer Lachlan Barnard - draw on an eclectic mix of modern and nostalgic musical influences to create their genre-blending sound, combining the musical hooks of indie-rock with catchy pop melodies and honest lyricism. 2021 saw Flag Duty release their debut EP, ‘Living in Daydreams’; a bookmark in the lives of the band and its members. The band then took the EP to the stage with their venerated live performances, playing multiple sold out headline shows throughout the year to growing and excited crowds. With the ball firmly rolling in 2022, Flag Duty once again have new music on the way, starting with their new single, Distance.
