Flame Trees are an ironic pop band from Perth, W.A. Blending together the bold quirk of Bowie, the infectious energy of The Clash and the raw grunt of The Scientists, Flame Trees have now produced a seven-song EP's worth of intelligent, catchy pop/rock songs for national distribution. Three of these are featured on their Unearthed account. The Flame Trees are soon to headline the 'Say It Loud' festival in Karratha, W.A., before beginning their tour through the South-West. Flame Trees already have plans for a full-length album, to be released in late 2009.
