Flicker Vertigo is the psychedelic rock brainchild of Nathan Nicholson, with everything written, recorded, mixed and mastered by Nicholson himself since 2015. A native of Melbourne, Australia, Flicker Vertigo is music to daydream to. Bursting with crunchy psychedelic textures, sun-dappled guitar hooks swirling in an explosive wall of sound, blissed-out melodies fluttering overhead, and hypnotic, driving grooves whizzing by, plus subliminal nods to dream pop, garage psych, krautrock, shoegaze and house bubbling upon the horizon and melting into the kaleidoscopic haze. It's a dreamy, cosmic, vertigo-inducing mixture that consumes you and transmits you skyward.
