FOTF consists of 4 members - Me, Myself, I and Drum Machine. We are all from Wairoa, N.Z except for Drum Machine who is from Japan. We are currently living in Melbourne and share the same room to save on rent as it is expensive to rent in Melbourne. As for my influences I spent my youth listening to my big brothers records Deep Purple, Hendrix, AC/DC, The Beatles, Pink Floyd, Dylan, Bowie, T- Rex, Black Sabbath and later on SRV and Pearl Jam. I am most proud to say that the first riff I learned was 'Smoke on the Water' on a ukelele when I was about 7 and one day I will get to learn Ritchies (he's my best friend) very cool solo. My songs are recorded using a basic small and portable 8 track digital recorder. I'm not concerned about lyrics and mainly just ad-lib so most vocals are recorded on the fly with 2 or 3 takes to find a melody.
