Floods is a four-piece Minneapolis-based indie rock group formed in 2015. Its drummer hails from Brisbane, although he spent a fair bit of time living in Perth as well. Their first full-length album (“Echo”) will be released September 2, 2016, preceded by a brief Midwest mini-tour in the U.S. Floods cites its major influences as Radiohead, The National, Modest Mouse, Pixies, David Bazan, Interpol, mewithoutyou, and Dylan, although three of the four members have played pretty consistently in hardcore/punk bands prior to forming Floods.
