Forming fresh from school in 2018, Flora Link are an indie alt/garage rock band from Brisbane/Meanjin writing about being young, getting munted, breaking hearts and broken hearts. Drawing inspirations from acts like The Smith Street Band, Ceres and Modern Baseball, the band’s sound demonstrates raw millennial angst and fun party anthems you don’t realise are more than they seem. Flora Link showcase their take on grunge/garage rock with their melancholy lyrics and frontman Matt’s whiny voice. His songs represent what it means to be growing up, happy, sad and everything in between, their style creates a sense of relatability for something everyone has gone through or is going through. “The band have fused their strong love of partying and flowers to make danceable tunes and perform high energy live shows.” - Mountain Goat Valley Crawl Scoring support slots for Spacey Jane, Sycco, Pacific Avenue and more, Flora Link are showing no signs of slowing with a massive 2022 on the horizon!
