Edit history

Several hundreds of millions of years ago, from the primordial ooze grew a collection of cellular life-forms that would one day group themselves into the unique collective that is Florentina. During the intervening aeons Florentina evolved as an artist, first by developing opposable thumbs and then by drumming in several local Adelaide bands; The Sunbirds, The Aves, and Ride Into the Sun (who featured at Big Day Out 2012). With her passion for drumming Florentina is also taking to vox in her solo ventures, hoping to be the Phil Collins* of the indie-acoustic scene. Her first single 'Convincing' is a mix of dream-inspired harmonies and festive Spanish guitar. She was born some time during the Cenozoic Period and is an omnivore. *Phil Collins is a similar life-form who evolved over roughly the same time-period.
