Flying Embers are a high energy alternative rock act from the south coast of W. A. We formed in Denmark sometime in March 2013 where most of us were studying music at TAFE. Singer/song writer/bassist, S.Toner (me) had written a bunch of songs over the years, (usually wasted down the beach on surfing/fishing missions, or in the back shed sipping on good old tawny port!) and after a couple of months of solid rehearsals we we're ready to hit the stage. Our first gigs were open mic nights at the White Star Hotel in Albany where we quickly caught the attention of local gig organizer Geoff Scott. He arranged for us to support some touring bands and after a few solid performances we were headlining our own shows. We've stirred up the youth at high schools and halls, hammered out a set at the Denmark Arts Markets, played all the (heavier) local pubs, and in November 2013 just before the release of our first E.P we got chosen as a regional act to play at the Saturday Spectacular as part of
