Flying Giant are an exciting up-and-coming independent progressive rock band on the Mid-North Coast. Set to follow up their debut EP with new music to be released in 2023. The band has a dynamic and diverse sound, exploring the soundscapes of rock, grunge, and metal to create an immersive experience with unique arrangements. The songs hit harder than you’d expect from a four piece, but lean heavily into the nuances of harmony, featuring soaring vocals and intricately layered guitars. Their music is catchy yet deceptively complex with its mind-bending time signatures, delivered by a powerful and pulsating rhythm section. The band brings a new sound into the mix, especially with Chris’ unique voice, but will sit well with fans of bands like silverchair, Tool, Karnivool, cog, and The Butterfly Effect.
