Hey there, I’m Lara. I’m a 20 year old surfer who loves art, music, the ocean and being creative. Surfing is the thing that used to take up most of my day, as I was competing around the world. As I started to question whether it's what I wanted, I realised that there’s always been something missing. Something else I wanted to do. My mum has been songwriting since I was young and was in the industry in her twenties. I never thought I’d follow in her footsteps as for me my creativity always came out through my art, but of late I’ve been inspired to write lyrics and melodies about what I think and feel. Being on the road a lot as a travelling competitive surfer there’s a lot of ups and downs and uncertainty and its nice to have found an outlet that I can turn to no matter where I am; at the beach, on the plane, in my bedroom, anywhere.
