Fonteray is the new project of Melbourne-based multi-instrumentalist Drew McCarty. With a penchant for vintage synthesisers and groovy basslines, Fonteray seeks to create vibrant, emotive and sonically rich soundscapes that are just as evocative as they are danceable. Grounded in elements of indie and neo-soul, while saturated with the warm and colourful qualities of disco and psychedelia, the music is distinctive yet familiar, with particular attention given to unique timbres that ooze character.
