"Fort Kilsby, a new force in Brisbane's already strong hip hop scene" Chantelle Sievers (Scene Magazine) Fort Kilsby, a collective of three key writers from a diverse range of backgrounds, blending Soul, Hip Hop and Rock, creating a unique experience, while combining live instrumentation, samples and visuals. Primarily an instrumental group, Fort Kilsby makes use of guest musicians and vocalists in a collaborative effort to keep things fresh. To date, the collective have joined forces with local and international guests, including Stewart Hill (Dead Letter Circus), Quan Yeoman (Regurgitator), Paul Atkins (Tea Party Crew), Ian Perez (Wolfmother), Abstract Rude (Freestyle Fellowship) USA, and are currently (2012) working on tracks with DNO (Resin Dogs), MCs Stalkz & Zeed (Gold Coast) & Fred Leone (Impossible Odds). The current self titled EP was recorded at their home studios, with additional parts recorded and mixed at Blackbox Studios in Brisbane. Mixed by Allan Mawdsley (UK), who
