Jake and Sam "also known as Gilly" formed a band at the age of 12 and started to cover their favortie bands. They also began to write their own music and play at their parents parties. They went through a rotating scene of members before coming across Brendan in music class of 08'. At first they didnt know if he would be any good, but after a few in class performances things were going pretty well. At the end of the year they decided to form a band and after a great deal of thought came up with Fourth Time Lucky. They practiced every weekend and played their first show for friends at a party. They practiced some more, wrote more songs and had their first organised gig at St Judes Hall on the 12th of September 2009. They practiced more, wrote better songs, got better gear and then had another gig on the 27th of Febuary 2010 and had a crowd of 150 people :D Shortly after that they played live on ABC on the 23/3/10.
