And later forming a passion for Spanish flamenco his style is influenced by Spanish legends Segovia & Paca Penna. Sammy’s influences include Stevie Nicks, Bob Dylan, UMI, Joni Mitchell, Nina Simone and Jeff Buckley. After 10 years spent playing abroad Sammy returned home to form THE FOX HUNT with Chris, and more recently added percussionist Wade Cogle. There songs are a fusion of folk rock blues layered with melodic Spanish leads.

Fox Hunt are an explosive Indie Rock band out of the Gold Coast, in Queensland, Australia. Catapulting onto the local scene in mid-2012 after winning radio station Rebel FM's "Stepping Stone" Battle of the Bands competition, the band has recently finished recording their eponymous EP, due for release late 2012. Fox Hunt channels the lyrical depth and content of rock's most brooding songwriters, and throws it against a wall of massive drums, huge bass and raw guitars, producing a sound that begs a second, third and fourth listen.
