Fox Sakes is a Boorloo (Perth) based duo formed by Aris Odi and Jordan Oliver. The duo writes tunes that are easy to sing along to with the intent of getting the audience engaged. Being good friends and being influenced by old blues/jazz tracks and artists such as Amy Winehouse, the duo started doing acoustic sets together at the start of 2021 as just Aris & Jordan before taking on the name "Fox Sakes!" Their debut single "Betray Me" is about losing trust in someone you love or care about. Written and composed by Aris Odi and Jordan Oliver, the song is very emotional and came from being fed up with the real-life feeling of betrayal the duo has had to constantly experience with many people in their lives. "Betray me again, honey I dare you!" Seriously, betray us and see what happens. We've been through it all before.
