In the winter sometime during the fifties, Mr Frank Sample then merely 6 months old, rolled out of his cot and down a hill. His parents, preoccupied with spiraling debt and endless harassment from the banks, thought that one less child would help with their financial situation and so were not concerned. No one knows who brought Frank up. Documented evidence suggests that wild beasts may have assumed the role of his early nurturing. We do know that Frank spent many years as a young adult travelling and that he learnt to speak the language of the outback and the city streets.
