Founded late 2010, Free World are a 5 piece fast punk hardcore band from the east side of Melbourne. After releasing a demo in 2010 and playing numerous local shows around the city making a name for themselves, Free World went into the studio early 2011 to record their debut EP Frozen. The release solidified their sound and put them on map in local scene gaining support spots for hardcore bands such as Relentless, Hopeless, Endless Heights and Iron Mind. As 2012 twelve rolled around, Free World released a self titled 3 track and the band has kept on rising within the Melbourne scene and the interstate scenes. 2012 has seen the band support international acts such as Terror, Defeater and Blacklisted as well as Australia's finest including Blkout and Warbrain. Things haven't slowed down in 2013, after sharing the stage at The Boys of Summer Tour with the likes of Comeback Kid, First Blood and on the back of a New Zealand tour with Sydney's Vices and some of the best hardcore on offer
