Freeborn Rising, Formed in 2014, are a Herefordshire based, politically charged, folk/punk act. A protest band by name and nature - "Passionate, pure and perfervid, political folk-punk!" Often compared to an early Levellers yet drawing on influences from a variety of genres, they deliver a distinctively eccentric yet poignant and evocative mix of pure, 'heart-written' music.
