Individually, they are 2 aspiring talents in the local musical community; JD, a professional DJ who's revolutionary sets leave countless clubs breathless and now holds residency at the red mosquito, and Keegs, a radio producer for StarFM and Electronic Music Junkie. But, their forces combined, they become Freelance Funk, with their well-matched musical talents and crew of guest DJ's who in turn bring their own "special something" to the mix (mix - get it?), they have produced, remixed and revolutionized their way to over 30 tracks since their debut less than six months ago. The newest addition to the Freelance Funk team, DJ Jamo, has recently been promoted into the full-time position of 2nd DJ on the team with JD, and is contracted to the group for the remainder of 2007.
