A whimsical folk country singer from the goldfields who sings with a voice of ethereal beauty. A testiment to the nightingales of the 20s, 30s and 40s, this songbird is not to be missed. Freya Josephine Hollick writes of breathtaking bucolic scenes, and articulates those things about love and loss most of us can scarcely put into words. Her debut album Beauty and Sorrow has been a long time in the making, and there will be more from this elusive siren in the coming months. Beauty and Sorrow is merely the tip of one helluvan iceberg.
