Friend or Foe play a style punk rock that is rarely heard in their hometown of Brisbane today. With aggressive drumming, smooth bass lines, ripping guitars and Aussie vocals, FoF set themselves apart from the punk rock pack by writing songs with meaning. Reborn in mid 2006 with the inclusion of Thom on vocals and Rob/James on guitars, the band with founding members Nick (bass) Dawson (drums) have been hard at work writing songs, playing gigs and recording a DIY demo that packs a punch. With influences ranging from Pantera to the Postal Service their sound lies somewhere between but not limited to Pennywise and One Dollar Short. 2007 promises to be a big year for FOF who want to keep pumping out the tunes, playing gigs and record more songs.
