ormed in 1998, Friends of Brian came about from having a beer after a Radiohead concert. Ben and Kat bumped into friend Brian and his mate Warren. While Brian was still in awestruck from what he'd just seen, he was the only one at the table not inspired to create music from it. Brian was completely forgotten about throughout these beers. Little did he know, Ben and Kat were making music and needed a drummer. Warren was a drummer who needed people that made music. The worst thing about it was they became instant friends. The combination of seeing one of their greatest gigs ever and the prospect of a band became overwhelming. The band pretty much begun there and within one month they were playing to full houses supporting The Waifs. It wasnt long before three friends became five. Long time friends Jeff and Barry had a connection with the band. Barry was the singers (Kat) boyfriend. Jeff added on the guitar and Barry garnished it with the bass. With that came a CD (released in 2000)
