From BBQ beginnings, South Australian rock band, From Scratch formed in the great lockdown of 2020. The band, consisting of Steven Caperna (keyboard/guitar/vocals), Robbie Gentilcore (guitar/vocals), Michael Gramazio (bass/vocals) and Julian Perrotta (drums), had no shortage of ideas working together to bring this new project to life. Influences from Queen, Muse, Incubus and Mutemath can be heard throughout the band’s music with addition of their own flare and creativity. Bringing to the forefront strong guitar and keyboard melodies accompanied with well thought-out vocal storytelling, From Scratch draws life experience from different generational perspectives consisting of a large age range themselves.
