Brian MacLean’s writings about life's absurdity – whether beautiful, moral, mortal or cute – inspired a friend to describe the efforts as "like a Dali painting, but with words." While ftMR can easily captivate an audience as a solo act, the music reaches new heights alongside stellar bandmates. With cellist Alyssa Wright and percussionist Ray Dillard, the ensemble's best described as chamber folk.
