Formed in 2000, Kym and Tara met in a community music program and wrote their first EP quite quickly. They are a great songwriting team and do their best work when collaborating. They naturally harmonise and hear things the same way - and so Fuchsia was born or bloomed so to speak! Over the years, they have performed a variety of well received live gigs in the Perth area before Tara moved away to Busselton in the South West of WA and then overseas to London. Meanwhile Kym studied music (including opera) at WAAPA in Perth. Tara has recently returned from travelling the world and Fuchsia has been reformed - same name, same music but new inspiration! Fuchsia is keen to get their next album recorded and start playing some more sweet music for the people they love! Hope you enjoy :)
