Hailing from Sydneys southern beaches,Future Primitive is beleived to be bringing something fresh to Sydneys music melting pot. Diverse, original and intense, the outfit creates a sound that blends roots, blues, hard rock and electronic pop. Formed in 2004, whilst enduring member changes and developing a new direction in sound, the band has experienced moderate success, touring with well known acts and gaining airplay in late 2005. Future Primitive finished their self titled debut EP co-produced bt Anton Hagop(silverchair, powderfinger, missy higgins.) 'Stompin' the first single from the EP is an explosive introduction to the new sound direction that Future Primitive is heading. From the pummeling intro to the unreeling end, this punchy, driving tune grabs you by the balls and doesn't let go. Mixing dirty lapslide, throbbing bass lines, killer guitar riffs, machine like drumming and upbeat samples. Stompin is one of those songs you wont be able to get out of your head
