Formed in Brisbane, 2009 - Fuzzy Polaroid was based around a love of blues covers and antiquated instruments. Fuzzy Polaroid exists in two variations - a trio of bass, guitar and drums - and a duo where the bass is played on organ foot pedals. Seriously. Songs are recorded onto 4 track cassette for that extra-muddy lo-fi goodness. Occasional overdubs are added later under protest. Guitars are usually plastic, Italian, and 30-50 years old. "Fuzzy" stands for our love of fuzz pedals and erm, "bluesy" idea of keeping time, "Polaroid" stands for our love of old analogue technology, our fast and carefree approach to recording, and our polarisation of people to either love us or wish we'd stop making that godawful racket.
