Forming mid 2015, gaia has quickly made a name for themselves by creating energetic/ambient music that has shown a new and unique side of the Darwin Music Scene. Gaia is made up of some of Darwin's best young musicians and brings a new energy and style to indie rock.

Coming together through Mutual Friends, GAIA is a 4 piece Alternative Rock Band from the Northern Territory who formed to create music from each members personal influences. Since forming mid 2015 they've gigged around the Darwin Region extensively whilst juggling the responsibilities of being in high school. During their tour years playing as a band they've had the pleasure of supporting the likes of The Cat Empire, Grinspoon and The Angels. GAIA have just come out of the studio and have released their debut EP "Your Poison" available on Spotify and Itunes "In my head, I picture Janice Joplin having a slightly more indie Led Zeppelin as a backing band." - Foldback Magazine
