Galleons Lap is a band that you probably don't yet know about, but not to worry; It is merely because they haven’t spammed your Myspace; they haven’t overtly promoted themselves; and so far they haven’t attempted to get radio play. If you were to ask them why, they would probably say something along the lines of; "WE dont need that stuff", or “E-flat is a jazz chord”, but most likely they just hadn't thought to do it. Despite these things, they manage to draw crowds to their occasional and much coveted shows. How is this possible? What attracts people to see an unadvertised band that isn't hyped up through the music industry machine?: The music. “With a crowd that roared approval as each song was recognised, you’d be hard pressed to find four other skinny and pale gentlemen that can combine funk, pop and country with such ease.” Rave Magazine (he obviously didnt notice our drummer has boobs)
