Born Mohamed Yousif, Brisbane emcee GALLVS is yet another shining example of the beauty and artistry that grows from immigration in this country. As an eight-year old in 1999, he relocated here with his parents from Sudan as sponsored citizens, and since then they’ve called sunny Brisbane their home. Now GALLVS counts himself as one of the members of Brisbane’s ever-expanding and incredibly fertile music scene, and has been profiled by major tastemakers like Pilerats, Purple Sneakers and Complex.
