Spearheaded by a Wadawurrung Country resident, Midas Sarabia, Gamiti’g Kalma (gah-mee-tig kahl-mah) is a musical collective from Bohol, Philippines. Meaning "keep it cool" or “stay calm,” the name is an invitation to slow down and take it easy. Their genre-fluid music is a fusion of tropical psychedelia, ethno-jazz, neo-soul, disco, reggae, and dub. Heavily inspired by nature and traditional culture, their sound is deeply connected to global progressive movements, including the Naarm/Melbourne music scene.
