Gar’s skilfully crafted original songs weave Celtic folk, rock, blues, country and reggae, and along with complex guitar tunings, diverse rhythms, a rusty voice, and harmonicas, transport the listener inside the song stories he creates. The following are a couple of recent publicity quotes; ‘Here is an artist whose refreshingly original songs defy pigeonholing, and whose unique song-writing skills transport the listener to poignant moments in time and space’. ‘Absolutely beautiful Gar, I'm transported to another dimension. Great song, brilliant images, more please.’
