Started playing jazz at 12 and found my way into punk and ska by 15. I was always a big fan of hendrix and dylan ( thanks dad ) so I was always interested in the poetic notations of their lyrics and licks. This lead me down the path of songwriting, to express they way I felt about situations in both words and music. I fronted a punk/ska band (Smegma) in my younger years playing gigs at local pubs and events, but I mellowed and found my way back to blues & roots. Travelling down the east coast playing pubs along the way, opend my eyes emensly to the joys of simple living, friends and good times. If 1 person takes something out of my music with them for their journey, I'll be a happy man.
