Some kids go through school not knowing what they want to be when they grow up. Those kids sometimes get a degree or 2 in completely useless fields that they never use, then decide 1 day that maybe their dad was right & they should join the Army & jump out of planes because they don't know what else they should be doing (other than being a frowned-upon rockstar with no guaranteed income). Many of those kids find that 20 years & several albums later they should NEVER have taken the safe route & should have whole-heartedly focussed on music & ignored everybody else. ALL of those kids realise they are stuck with the horrific & untreatable addiction called "making rock songs" for the rest of their days. This has catastrophic consequences on relationships, their ability to concentrate in their boring day jobs, their ability to relate to other non music playing/loving humans & they are often middle-aged & banished to bedrooms for days on end. Overweight & passed-over, this could be me???
