A look inside the Gas Wylde Band As regulars on the inner city Sydney live circuit Gas Wylde Band are out to impress when and wherever they perform. Harnessing the energies of front man and songwriter Gas Wylde the band has played over many years to rapt audiences from Newtown to Melbourne and points in between. They return to promote the critically acclaimed CD ‘Last Man Out’, a tuneful, sharp-tongued look at the current political winds of change. http://www.altcountryforum.nl/2011/10/08/gas-wylde-band-last-man-out/ Utilising the same fire, conscience and passion of early heroes like Steve Earle and CCR, GWB go all out to combine thoughtful tunes with a real need to entertain. First appearing live as Gas & the General in the early noughties it’s been the inner Sydney circuit where GWB have struck up a rapport by charming and thrilling audiences wherever they appear. In 2012 GWB continue to push the musical boundaries by keeping it real and saying it like it is. Band members
