Gena Rose Bruce‘s debut album Can’t Make You Love Me is out now via Dot Dash Recordings. Can't Make You Love Me showcases Bruce’s unmistakable brand of smoky rock; smouldering vocal performances, pulsing rhythms, echoes of Mazzy Star and Lynchian undertones. The album was produced by Tim Harvey (Teeth & Tongue, Lisa Mitchell) and features guitar/bass contributions by Jade Imagine. An electrifying balance of tension and playfulness, her heartfelt live performances leave audiences full of longing. Whether playing solo or accompanied by her band, Bruce is a mesmerising onstage presence. Can’t Make You Love Me is an intoxicating ride through love, lust, self-destruction and surrender.
