With ten years under his belt, Genesiz is no stranger to the urban music scene in Australia. Having cemented his place within the industry, Genesiz looks to go from strength to strength as he enters a new season musically. As one of Australia’s most recognisable faces in positive hip hop, he has helped launch many other artists within the scene all while building his own reputable catalogue. In 2007, Genesiz founded The Commission after the deaths of two close friends challenged him to use his music as a positive voice within an often dark industry. His debut album, "Redemption", was released early 2009 and quickly rose up the charts. With a distinctly different sound to anything else within the gospel arena in Australia at the time, it blazed a trail in which The Commission could grow and build momentum.
