It's funny how side-projects have a habit of taking over an artist's creative life. So often, what started as just as little more than just 'good idea at the time' eventually takes top billing. And it's exactly that situation Brisbane electro artists Gentlemen now find themselves in. Featuring longtime collaborators Luke and Ryan, the outfit emerged as the pair decided to try creating music outside the traditional thrash-meets-noise comfort zone of their other band Komyunike-Ta Kan. With the addition of the always entertaining Miguel sharing vocals, Gentlemen was complete. Reflecting a shift in the music around them, the creative jump came as they spent more and more time listening the artists like The Rapture, All Leather, Miley Cyrus, The Blood Brothers and Kap Bambino.
