Geoff Allan and The Stitch is the hardest and truest Australian funk and soul band this side of the Pacific Ocean. Formed in Fitzroy, Melbourne, Geoff Allan and The Stitch draw from old school Motown, gospel and funk, writing original music that reflects modern Australia, all its colours, cultures, and environment. Geoff Allan is one of the best vocalists Australia has produced. Known and respected amongst Australia's gritty, surviving live-music community, songwriter and artist, Geoff penned the single and B-Side, recently recorded on 2-inch analog tape, served up as three minutes of soul-drenched joy in 'All Your Bones'. Geoff says of the song All Your Bones, 'Make of it what you will, it's all about Australia'. Giving a nod to hard working artists like James Brown, Charles Bradley, and even Australia's own John Farnham, Geoff's hard-hitting vocal ability and intensity on-stage is ignited by The Stitch, a hand-made musical powerhouse of soul-drenched fun and vintage warmth
