Geordie is an exciting up and coming artist from Perth city Western Australia where his journey begins. Born in 1988 (making him 20 years old) in Perth to parents from New Zealand Geordie from a young age was influenced by old island music that his father John Patterson used to play While young Geordie was on his lap. As Geordie grew older he learnt to play guitar himself and started experimenting with a wide range of music And as a young teenager discovered Reggae as Geordie describes the most beautiful music he had heard, listening to many artists such as UB40, Bob Marley, Peter Tosh and Maxi priest. He loved the way reggae music could be used too change mood it could express such emotions as love, loss and political anger. As he grew older Geordie discovered Hip hop and started to produce hip hop beats for many artists In the Perth underground rap scene, meanwhile Geordie was staying true too his roots writing Reggae songs while adding a island and blues feeling to them. Geordie
