Georgia is a Melbourne based singer/songwriter heavily influenced by poetry, art rock and theatre. Blonde to the Bone is her launch single, a super catchy foray into the indie-pop realm, a gem that is in dire need of a synch with some mega conglomerate shampoo brand (I'm looking at you L'Oréal!) The track was inspired by David Bowie's Diamond Dogs, as a darkly glamorous ode to the subtle art of self invention and fantasy. She is currently working on an upcoming EP. In 2006 at the age of just 13 years old, Georgia recorded her first EP. The record peaked at a single cd burning, and has since become a distant and unpleasant memory. Since then, Georgia has focusing her attentions on her youtube channel. The extremely mild online success prompted Georgia into the musical theatre scene, where she has gone on to star in her debut role of "nun" in the Sound Of Music to a sold out crowd. Georgia enjoys opportunities to talk about herself in the third person without sounding pompous or insane.

I've been singing for 7 years and have just recently got into song writing. Although I am a solo act i also sometimes perform with my friend Andrew who plays the piano/guitar. I absolutely love jazz and soul. My absolute favorite artist would have to be Sarah Bareilles. The old music she use to sing is amazing and her arrangements of old time classics are extremely good!!! I am doing my HSC this year and my aim for next year is to get into the gigging scene and travel around performing with my pianist.
